Of all the trending tweets in the past week, one stood out. The tweet was made by Malia Obama, former US president Barack Obama’s first daughter, about her decision to start dating.
“Hey Twitter Fam! I think I’m going to start dating but I’m not looking for anything long-term. I just turned 24 and it’s going to be my first relationship, so I don’t want anything serious as of now. Maybe I’ll get serious when I turn 25.”
Newly single Leonardo DiCaprio is the most eligible bachelor according to an MTV poll. The actor ended his 4-year-long relationship with his girlfriend, Camila Morrone, a few weeks after her 25th birthday as she was getting “too old for him”.
“I can’t be with anyone who is going to go through a quarter-life crisis”, the 47-year-old actor stated on The Honest Than Thou late-night show by NBC.
Representatives of NBC tweeted out to DiCaprio asking him to be a part of the 27th rerun of their most popular reality show saying, “@LeoDiCaprio, America wants you to be the next bachelor for The Bachelor Season 26! A great actor, producer and philanthropist working with WFF, you certainly are the most eligible bachelor. And don’t worry, all contestants will be < 25! 😉 ”
Sources close to DiCaprio soon told reporters that he is already in a relationship with Malia Obama. The couple was spotted leaving his penthouse apartment together.
“Malia is great”, DiCaprio told paparazzi outside his home. “We have made it clear that we both don’t want anything long-term. We have amazing chemistry.”
Malia chirpily said, “We have an understanding. I told him I didn’t want anything long-term.”
“That’s perfect!” he replied.
