Audrey Portier

Audrey L. Portier is an activist, screenwriter and poet from Louisiana whose first feature film, Beware the Boxfolk, is currently in post production. While written and spoken word storytelling has been their passion for the better part of a decade, their vocations and "day jobs" have been education and advocacy. A proud union member and Muslim, Audrey hopes to use their art and labor to help communities, particularly the unhoused.
