Dorian is an aspiring poet from the Bronx, who picked up writing out of sheer curiosity after working at an arts council and being intrigued by the many art submissions that would come through his desk to review (just to make sure they had no identifying information of course). After being in more space with artists of different genres, celebrating their accomplishments and the like, he believed he too could become an artist and started writing. Though not majoring in writing at school, he has taken many strides in the way of self learning with pieces that take shape through color, sound, and an urban reality to form a tapestry of thoughts and emotions that range from ambivalent loss, unrequited love, the conflict of space, and the overarching human condition. I hope for you all the pieces are all well received.
