Valerie Little

Pennsylvania native Valerie Little studied creative writing at University of Pennsylvania and Penn State University. Her work has been featured in journals including River Heron Review, Willard and Maple, Cathexis Northwest Press, St. Paul Almanac, Fatal Flaw, Ember Chasm Review, Cordella Press, Duck Lake Journal, and on Minnesota Public Radio. Her creative non-fiction work has twice been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and her debut chapbook, Little Blue Primer, was one of seven poetry finalists for the 16th Annual National Indie Excellence Awards. Beyond writing, Valerie is a member of the Minnesota Orchestra and works in the funeral service industry.
