Victoire Chevreul

Victoire Chevreul is a French freelance journalist based between Nice and Paris, focusing on social and intimate issues both in France and internationally. Graduated from the CFJ Paris in journalism and from La Sorbonne in literature., she reports on civilian resilience in the face of conflict, ecological disasters, and the aftermath of health crises, with a particular focus on Ukraine, Russia, Poland, and France. Her work often explores the experiences of younger generations—children, teenagers, and young adults—as they navigate the challenges of growing up in the aftermath of crises. In 2019, Victoire received the GEO Young Reporter Grant, which allowed her to pursue investigative work. Her reporting has appeared in French and English-language media outlets, including Le Monde, GEO, L'Express, RTL, Vice News, The Independent, Arte, Grazia, and La Gazette des Communes.
