I found a hoe in the grass,
Black sleek handle, crusty
mud on the metal. I really
could use this hoe, I thought.
I have been meaning to go to
the hardware store to get
a hoe. I have so many dandelions
and clovers spread around, growing
weeds. The hoe fit right in my hand
and I looked up to see if anyone
saw me pick it up. I can put it in
my backpack. Since I have a hoe
now maybe I can find a friend and
lie to them that I am a teacher/
I need a new friend now that I
got ride of my friends because I
don’t know them and they steal
from me. I kept walking up the hill
with hoe in hand and made a left—
and thought I need a new car—maybe
I can take one from the lot—jump
in they leave the key in the car at
that gas station, the hoe in my hand
lucky me. To find a hoe until I thought
what if I brought the hoe to the lost
and found, that sunny day—I found it
on campus and the guy said thank you sir
I will make sure the grounds guys
get it.
