Alexandra Persad is a Pushcart-nominated writer, who studied creative writing at West Virginia University and now lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan with her partner and her cat, Jasper. She writes fiction that explores themes of female identity and detachment int he modern world. Her writing has been featured in Flossy Lit Mag, Lit, Glint Literary Journal, Blaze Vox Journal, Barren Magazine, the Potomac Review, and Better than Starbucks, where her essay was nominated for the Best of 2020.
