Annalena La Porte, Ph.D., has published several books under the nom de plume Elle Elsea, including “Home Is Where” (2018), as well as storytelling series: “NYC after the Nuke: A Love Story” (2018), and the “Harper Rose Trilogy” (2019-2020), which she narrates, and for which Season 1: “The Women on the Wall” won the 2020 Audio Verse Award for “Best New Spoken Word Production”—available wherever you get your podcasts. She also published “The Corona Queen” in 2022. Annalena is a virologist by training, and part of the climate activist network Scientist Rebellion. She is part of the Climate Writing Collective in New York City. A lot of her writing touches on climate-related issues, and the hope that humanity finds at its darkest moments. Because life is long, and what is there, if not pockets of happiness.
