Caleb Weintraub

Caleb Weintraub is an Associate Professor of Painting and Director of Undergraduate Studies at the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture, and Design at Indiana University. His artwork integrates technological and traditional processes to explore imagined worlds and hypothetical realities. He recently co-convened the "Creativity in the Age of AI" summit and co-taught a course entitled "AI in the Studio". His artwork has been exhibited in galleries including Fredericks & Freiser in New York, the Zolla/Lieberman Gallery in Chicago, and the International Museum of Art and Science in Texas. His work has also been featured in group exhibitions at the Chicago Cultural Center and the Hyde Park Art Center. Recognition of his artistic contributions includes features in New American Paintings, the book “Signs of the Apocalypse/Rapture” by Front Forty Press, and Juxtapoz Magazine. He has presented a body of research entitled, “The Artist Augmented: AI in the Studio" at conferences in the United States and internationally. Weintraub is a two-time Institute for Digital Arts and Humanities fellow at Indiana University.
