Carla Schick

Carla Schick is a Queer Social Justice activist who strives to interweave everyday events with politics in a poetical form. . Their works have appeared in SF City College’s Forum, Sinister Wisdom, Qu, Black Fox Literary Mag and Fourteen Hills, and in anthologies by Colossus Press, Pure Slush, and Poet’s Choice. They received an honorable mention in the 2025 Tom Reid Poetry Contest. They were awarded a 2023 Literary Award in Poetry from SF Foundation/Nomadic Press.
