David is an award-winning news and features writer and playwright. His nonfiction has been published by The Guardian, the Christian Science Monitor and High Country News, among many others. His plays have been produced from coast to coast, and many places in between. He earned his undergraduate degree in playwriting from DePaul University, and a graduate degree in theatre from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale.
