Ede Clarke
Ede Kay Clarke is a Greek American entrepreneur, writer and abolitionist, living in China since 2003, claiming the Oregon Coast home when in the U.S. Her efforts center on rescuing, healing and giving voice to once-forgotten Dear Ones—slavery, abandonment, unhoused, incarceration, addiction and domestic abuse survivors. This life calling often informs her writing, and she enjoys exploring other heart subjects as well. Her published work includes poems Depending on the Nature and Op Art (Half and One, Jan ’25); Embedded (Found a Proverb, Oct ‘21) and Never (Prometheus Dreaming, Dec ‘21); novella, Maybe Someday (‘10); and electronic gaming industry writing (‘98-‘03) testifying to her Silicon Valley pre-China years. She earned a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Houston.
