Giulio Pergola
I am an Italian neuroscientist living in Baltimore, MD, where I do research on the biology of psychiatric disorders. My journey started from Bari, on the heel of Italy’s boot, and I followed my science through various destinations in Italy, Europe, and the USA. Today, I live suspended between the two shores of the Atlantic Ocean, juggling two research groups and the many fragments that compose my life. Jet lag has become my unwelcome pet. Among its gifts are the time and space to write what would be in my dreams… if only I were able to fall asleep!
