James Ogburn
Jim R. Ogburn, Jr., M.D. (J.R. Ogburn), is an Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist in Athens, Texas, a splendid small town in East Texas that has been home since 1999. He and his lovely and talented wife of 39 years, Maria, opened Eastern Texas Pathology Laboratories in 2007. Jim occasionally treads the boards at the Henderson County Performing Arts Center, affectionately known amongst the local thespians as the Athens Little Theater. His favorite roles have been Henry in The Fantasticks, Speed in The Odd Couple, Mr. Bumble in Oliver, and Napoleon in Animal Farm.
