Jay Gentry
Jay Gentry is an assistant professor of English at Montana State University Billings. His scholarly work examines the role of tragedy in the American landscape, and his creative work reflects on the environment and psychology of the American experience. Born in Arizona, Jay has lived in Washington, Wyoming, Texas, and Montana and feels at home in the Rocky Mountain region where nature is always just outside the door. He believes that poetry, more than other mediums, creates a timeless encapsulation of emotion and place.
