Joan Presley is a native Californian and a resident of Reno, Nevada. She is a veteran and a retired public servant who loves to read, write and walk. She has graduate degrees from the University of Nevada, Reno and Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Her work has been published in the Meadow, the Brushfire, Painted Cave, the Slab Literary Review, the Evening Street Press and Nevada Humanities. She lives with her dogs, surrounded by friends and buffeted by family
