Joan Penn

Joan Penn lives in NYC, and has a background in theater, photography and public relations. She discovered poetry as a lifeline during the long Covid lockdown, and finds healing in humor. Joan is currently participating in an online poetry workshop with Paris-based Grace Bialecki. She has been published in several online and print publications and in two anthologies. One of her poems was selected as 3rd place contest winner in the soon-to-be-released Wingless Dreamer anthology, "Evening, Wine, and Poetry." Another of her poems was included in the playbill for a 2022 theatrical presentation, "Superheroes & Other Men."
