John Collins Williams

John Collins Williams is an award-winning writer, director, producer and Co-Founder & CEO of Reel Works, a filmmaking nonprofit in Brooklyn. His stories have been published in GRIFFEL, Red Noise Collective and Half and One literary journals and he recently won first prize in The Midnight Oil short story contest. Kirkus Reviews praised John’s story collection, Glasses Wallet Keys, as “Varied, engaging, and skillfully written tales.” John has a B.A. from Boston University and an M.F.A. in film from NYU. He lives in Long Island with his wife, son, corgi, and cats.
