Julie Nelson is a creative writer and educator who lives with her partner in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She has published poems and stories in various literary journals including Wild Roof Journal, Passengers Journals, Cathexis Northwest Press, East by Northeast Literary Magazine, Critical Reads, and Passagers. Eucharist was inspired by the memory of a dear friend and colleague, Peter, who loved life and lived large.
