Ken grew up in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which my grandfather helped build as a crane-driver. The cranes sit on top of the Bridge to this day. Later the family moved to a beachside suburb of Sydney.
At university he majored English and History. He has worked in numerous part-time and fulltime jobs, but mostly in the Australian Public Service, known as the civil service in other countries. Within the Australian Public Service, he mostly worked as a computer programmer.
His interests include learning German again, after first taking it in high school, reading, Tai-chi and surfing the Internet.
