Natalie Johnson is a queer movement artist, writer, and mother. She explores the intersection of language and dance in both her performance and writing, using each to express brutal truths and tender confessions. Her poetry investigates embodied inner conflict, where the self is both offered and interrogated at once. She has performed across New England as a member of the Providence Poetry Slam Team, and her work has been published in Half and One, Beyond Words, Shoreline, and Bowdoin College’s Literary Magazine.
