Patricia is an artist, writer and bookkeeper living in Montreal, Canada. Her heart is in Nova Scotia, where she is from and where the story "ship of dreams" is based. Although the story is not completely autobiographical, the character Uncle Tub is based on a Patricia's beloved great-uncle Gerald or "Uncle Tub." The real, larger-than-life Uncle Tub passed away June 2024. Patricia dedicates this story to him.
