Patrick Garaca resides in Birmingham, Alabama, with his wife and two dogs. He is a member of the Alabama Writers’ Cooperative and the Alabama State Poetry Society. His poetry has been published in Words of The Lamb Magazine, and he placed first in the 2024 AWC short story competition and the 2025 AWC flash fiction competition.
