Takara McBride is a recent graduate from Brigham Young University of Hawai’i with a bachelor's in Creative Writing. They were born and raised in Maui where they were able to experience all sorts of cultures. They were also on the editorial team for their university’s literary journal, Kula Manu, as a nonfiction editor.
