Tom Gatley

Tom is a writer and filmmaker whose work explores overlooked stories through drama and science fiction. In 2019, he published The Sugar Queen, a novella set aboard a 19th-century steamboat. His short films have screened internationally, including at Cannes, LA Cinefest, and the Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival, with several earning nominations and awards. He also wrote, produced, and directed the feature film Expiry, which received multiple accolades and was released by Cinedigm. His micro-short Safe won Best Micro-Short at the Discovery Independent Film Festival in Australia.
