Joshua Forehand grew up in small town Texas, spent much of his twenties traveling and working in Latin America, where he met a girl from the upper Midwest. He is an educator of 22 years, having worked in Honduras, Texas, and Wisconsin. For the past ten years he has served as the principal of an elementary school in Madison. Writing has been a constant in his life since childhood--an escape, a travel companion, an pocket-translator for emotions, a therapist.
