How can racism be solved? Is it through activism? Through protests that shed light on the institutionalised discrimination that demarcates based on the colour of our skin? Through years of fighting against racism, the solution came in a video.
An inane and grossly simplistic solution.
A man in a state in eastern India, has brought together people from all over the world.
“I’m a black ‘n-word’,” the young man proclaims in the viral video as his gaze penetrates the camera. He languidly throws up gang signs that only contribute to his impactful dismantling of racism.
How can one not admire him?
From his use of a slur used to demonise an entire race of people, to his rapping that flows with perfect cadence and rhythm. But most importantly for winning a fight that has gone on for hundreds of years in a mere 2 minutes.
A true revolutionary of our generation.
The young man saw an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing struggle that black people face all over the world and released a song so tasteful, he single-handedly ended racism.
Netizens happily celebrated in the comment section of the iconic music video,
“Finally, racism has been ended by a Jharkhandi!” proclaims NekoChan.
“Someone has finally ended racism.” Sammyrocks comments.
The young man’s parents were tearful in an interview, “We knew he had a passion for activism and vehemently stood against racial discrimination, but we didn’t think he would create music that could have an impact on the entire world.”
Now we can only wait in rapture, until he solves poverty with his next release.
