The superrich have again come out on top during a world crisis. The pandemic created an economy of instability and high unemployment rates around the World. But this did not affect the earnings of the rich. As of April 2021, there are 493 billionaires worldwide. At least 40 of them have reached this milestone due to Covid-19 related products.
Notably, most of these billionaires have come from China – 205 to be exact.

Inmates of a Mexican prison brought out the entrepreneur in themselves when they started an OnlyFans account. OnlyFans is a digital subscription based service where your ‘fans’ pay for the content. The account went viral in Mexico, mainly among male users, where content included extremely explicit videos being recorded within the prison grounds.
- Dulux, Dulux, Dulux
Tottenham Hotspur, an English Premier League team has been known as a ‘banter’ club. Mainly because of its numerous failed attempts at winning a trophy.
The banter never ends.
The club recently signed a deal with paint manufacturer, Dulux. The events that followed included a picture posted by the official UK Dulux Twitter account of a dusty trophy cabinet and implied that the Dulux mascot, a dog, would do a better job at defense than Mourinho’s struggling defenders.

A Continental Giant Rabbit named Darius has disappeared from his home in Central England.
According to the West Mercia Police, Darius is one of the world’s biggest bunnies. He even has a Guinness World Record to his name as the world’s longest rabbit at 4 feet, 3 inches (129 centimetres).
Annette Edwards, the owner of the Giant bunny, has offered a £2000 reward ($2,748) for his return.
- Rise Of The Mummy
An ancient city has been unearthed on the western bank of Luxor, 500km south of Cairo. The city has been named “The Rise of Aten” and is around 3000 years old. The lead archaeologist, Zahil Hawass, said in a statement that the city might have existed between 1391 and 1353 BCE and dates back to the reign of King Amenhotep III.
According to Betsy Bryan, a professor of Egyptology, “The discovery of this lost city is the second most important archaeological discovery since the tomb of Tutankhamun.”
- Glow In The Dark Mushrooms
‘Electric Mushrooms’ are a thing. Found in the North-Eastern state of Meghalaya, India, the fungi are part of 97 known species of bioluminescent fungi in the world. The scientists who discovered the species are a team from India and China who heard reports of these mushrooms from locals.
Enveloped on top of dead bamboo sticks were tiny mushrooms emitting a mysterious green glimmer. The phenomenon is known as bioluminescence. Roridomyces phyllostachydis – the name of the new species of fungi was first discovered in Meghalaya’s Mawlynnong, situated in East Khasi Hills and later in Krang Suri in West Jaintia Hills.

The aim was to be more independent in a male-privileged society. Marina Sayed, a resident of Karachi, had grown tired of depending on her brothers or the developing public transport system. She decided to start her own driving school called The Rowdy Riders.
Once they graduate, they do not stop being a part of the school. It has become a community for these ladies and a bonding experience for each and every student.
