Together: The song of us

By Anirudh Saji Nair

We are the breath of the morning sky,
A chorus that whispers, “We’ll never die.”
Born of the earth, one common clay,
In a thousand voices, we find our way.

The rivers that flow from distant lands,
Meet in the sea where hope expands.
Hands that once trembled in fear’s cold night,
Now lift together, bound in light.

Oh, the pain we’ve known, the tears we’ve cried,
The echoes of sorrow, long denied.
But still we rise, like dawn’s first flame,
With every voice, we sing the same.

Never again will hate divide,
The love we bear, too strong to hide.
In every shade, in every face,
We find the stars, a shared embrace.

For you are me, and I am you,
A truth as deep as skies are blue.
In our hearts, we hold the key,
To build a world where all are free.

So let us sing, from hill to shore,
The song of peace, forevermore.
No walls, no chains, no blood-stained hand—
Together we heal, together we stand.

This poem is designed to be lyrical, carrying a melody of unity and peace. It evokes imagery of shared journeys and emphasizes the harmony between different peoples, echoing the theme of healing and overcoming divisions.
