Nick Holloway
Nick is originally from Pasadena, Texas, where he grew up with his two older brothers. While they are all in constant competition to achieve the rank of "Number 1 Son," Nick maintains that he holds the title. Nick spent much of his youth swimming, playing and singing music, and spending his time with family throughout Texas and Louisiana. He currently lives with his wife, Madison, in California where he is finishing his PhD in Endocrinology. Nick tries to make Madi laugh on a daily basis, and so far he is successful. Nick takes great joy in useless projects. His current one: building a boat out of cardboard and duct tape to "sail" into the San Francisco Bay. He is only somewhat successful, so far. When Nick isn't writing or trying to be a scientist, he takes long runs through his neighborhood with the roaming gangs of wild turkeys who chase after him. He needs to run much faster if he wants to avoid their pecking. Nick is not successful at all in this endeavor.
